dc.description.abstractThe focus of my project is to incorporate the use of social networks into the marketing plan for Lamrock, Inc., a Heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and electrical business located in Oscoda, Michigan. Despite being in the community for 50 years, Lamrock, Inc. still battles with other local competitors for business. My internship was geared towards taking my knowledge of social networks and marketing techniques and combining it with the knowledge of the company that I gained over the summer. Throughout the paper I will go into more detail about my time at Lamrock, Inc., the company's current marketing plan, an updated plan that includes the use of social networks, and the projected financial implications of the plan over the next three years. With the help of an upgraded marketing strategy and the inclusion of online marketing via social networks, I believe that Lamrock, Inc. can easily become the leader in its field in Northeast Michigan. An updated, modernized marketing plan is just what the company needs to move out of its past and into its future. After spending an entire summer around the company' it is clear to me that the company has the people and materials that it needs to be successful, and with a little help it can become more successful than it has ever been.en_US
