Concept Evolution in Ego Psychology

In this paper, I attempt to trace the evolution of ego psychology from Freud's early conceptualizations to post-Freudian theoretical contributions. I have attempted to do this through a critical, and at times, interpretative and comparative exposition of the subject-matter obtained through the rather arbitrarily limited sources available to me.
