Abstract
The purpose of this Senior Individualized Project is to investigate valuation techniques used for valuing early-stage, internet-based technology companies during the dot-com bubble and today. These valuation techniques are used to determine whether the payoff is large enough to merit an investment. The uncertainty of many of these valuations can lead to overvalued or undervalued investments that may lead to a bubble in the market.
