Abstract

Scripps Networks consists of six different lifestyle media networks: Home and Garden Television (HGTV), Food Network, Do It Yourself Network (DIY), Cooking Channel, Travel Channel and Great American Country (GAC). These brands all attract a specific set of advertisers to their networks. The advertisers who are on the networks relate to the content of the programming. As Scripps has acquired more and more advertisers that relate to their programming, they have created unique marketing opportunities for their advertisers that are beneficial to both the advertiser and the brand. The opportunities that Scripps has to offer are plenty from sponsorships and promotions to partnering up with companies who share a common theme and goal. Through Scripps innovative and numerous opportunities that is based off of their endemic nature, they are able to create value in their brands.
