James Napp, class of 1908, served as a missionary in Kolhapur, India from 1920-1944. Just outside of Kolhapur, Mahatma Ghandi, a renowned Indian Civil Rights activist, was giving a speech in the city of Nipani. See "The Missionary Herald and Examiner" to read up on Napp's impression of Ghandi.
