Abstract
This paper is divided into three very distinct sections and thus should be read as such.
Section one is the research aspect of the SIP and discusses the thesis of the project. As is appropriate with any term paper, it is written in a formal manner. The second section details my work experience and includes a journal that I kept daily, while working in Lansing. In order to reflect my own personal insights as clearly and precisely as possible, I have kept the writing style relatively informal, especially with regards to the journal. The final section is simply the addenda for the first two sections, that I felt were appropriate to include. This section primarily consists of materials that I have gathered from various sources. Therefore, the issue of writing styles is not applicable.
