Abstract
This study is a comparison of English Language and the Kiswahili Languages. Its aim is to demonstrate how each of these respective cultures have influenced the respective languages.
Because there are many aspects of language and also various aspects of culture this study is a general comparison and will draw examples from a wide array of materials to demonstrate its above stated aim. Due to the time and scope of this study a general comparison is all that is possible, but it is hoped that this general study will lay the ground work or provide some insight into a more focused and specified version in the future.
