Abstract

This study compared the grouping and behaviors exhibited by individuals within two herds of fallow deer (Dama dama) that were derived from the same original herd. In doing so, a trend was discovered between specific herd and how frequently as well as to what degree deer stayed in proximity with the rest of the herd. Ultimately, weather conditions were proven to produce a bias in the data and statistical significance was not found in this study.
