Abstract
R.B. Desroches reports back to the Board of the Baptist State Convention regarding his progress as a missionary in Detroit. He excitedly recounts a story about a recent convert of his who was formerly a devout Catholic Nun. Her baptism brought hordes of people to the Church to watch, because no one could truly believe a woman as pious as her would leave the Catholic Church. Desroches is inspired by her "willingness to hear the Word of Truth", and ends the report by requesting 100 dollars from the Convention.
