Abstract
An internet strategy is a key component of any profit seeking firm. Without an internet strategy firms will lose out on opportunities and will often lose out to competition. The internet has allowed firms to cut costs and increase awareness of its product due to the many benefits it provides. Among these benefits are that it creates an expanded market, it provides new advertising tools, creates potential for communication channels, and allows new forms of data management. It is because of these benefits that having an internet strategy is such a vital part of a business.
