Abstract
Nathan Pratt Barlow reports an eighth time to the Committee on Ministerial Education of the Michigan Baptist State Convention on his financial situation after a term at the College during his Senior year. His work as a sexton has continued to be profitable, and the Convention sent him a small amount of money as well. This income has allowed him to pay off many old debts, but not all of them. Just as he visited his father’s family when they were sick during an earlier term, Barlow does the same for multiple friends, spending six weeks at the College and four with friends. In addition, he seems to have studied Hebrew and “New Testament Exegesis” so much that he believes it counts as “one study continually,” possibly the equivalent of a single modern academic credit.
