Abstract
This report documents five months·of archaeological research including pre-field preparation, reconnaissance surveying, site location, discussion of survey results, and recommendations regarding the recorded sites. Field surveying took 34 days, and a total of 31 cultural resource sites were located and recorded. Actual report writing and site record preparation was completed in 20 days. Archaeological reconnaissance surveys are required by the United States Department of Agriculture's Forest Service as part of the preparation for future timber sales in National Forests. The format of this document was designed by the Federal Government. The author volunteered her services at the Minarets District, Sierra National Forest, to help complete this project.
