Abstract
In the process of surveying and evaluating the health among women in developing societies, a specific attention shall be taken from the case of Filipino women. Despite the prior and present engendered bias of international health policy and analysis, an attempt to re-conceptualize the specific health related concerns of Filipino women will be sought out. Accordingly, the answers to the following questions will be investigated: What are the unmet medical needs and health related concerns of Filipino women, in terms they themselves would define? What cultural, socioeconomic, and political influences deter them from attaining or addressing these needs and concerns? What actions may be taken in relation to alleviate such obstacles?
