Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to make clear the position of the Rationalist school of language study and its reliance on machinery provided by the Foundation of Mathematics. Thus the main thrust of this paper is at the concepts of Deep Structure and Creative Aspect and their development using, respectively, the Theory of Relations and the Theory of Recursive Functions. The basic relation that underlies the rule formulation for presenting Deep structure is A is a B. The basic recursive rule that underlies the Creative Aspect is A is a Sentence. Upon these fundamentals does this presentation rest.
