The author’s original novel follows the title character, Stan, on his journey to reunite and reconcile with the family he left on earth after dying and being sent to hell. The way he was to do this would be his designated “prototype torture” which would reincarnate him as a creature to live over and over again, dying only upon finding happiness in his existence.
