Abstract
This is a study of adolescent suicide, with a focus on particular cases in Cadillac,
Michigan. I examined the sociological, psychological and briefly mention the biological
aspects contributing to adolescent suicide. With adolescent suicide more than tripling
since the 1950's, it has become an imperative public health concern. This study
examines the relationship between those who died by suicide and what factors influence their cognitive processes. Understanding the reasons and acquiring knowledge in the area of adolescent suicide is a progressive and thorough method of preventing further loss.
