Abstract

This study is concerned with the economic aspects of the intercollegiate sports program at each of the MIAA colleges. More specifically, it is concerned with the allocation of resources by each college to the sports it sponsors. The allocations made by each college show the importance of intercollegiate athletics at that college, and also the comparative importance to the college of the various sports it sponsors.
