Abstract
The authors review the concepts, diagnosis and treatment of brain injury, then focus on the specific manifestation of reading problems as a type of mild dysfunction in the central nervous system. They then review a study conducted at the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential in Philadelphia to determine whether there was any significant correlation between changes in the predominant eye as measured by the Keystone Visual Survey and the three measures of reading performance on the Gates and Stanford standardized reading tests.
