Abstract
This paper discusses a simulation modelling the behavior of an inelastic system of spherical particles under gravity rolling on an inclined surface and driven by an oscillating wall. The results of the simulation show that the behavior of the system closely resembles that of real-life experiments and is relatively insensitive to the form of the force law that governs the interaction between particles.
