The author describes her internship in the Museum Education and Prints and Drawings departments at the Art Institute of Chicago. She describes her work on several studies into the attribution and spread of influence among the members of the School of Raphael, including Giulio Romano, Giovan Francesco Penni, Giovanni de Udine, Perino del Vaga, Polidoro del Caravaggio, Pellegrino da Modena, Raffaellino del Colle, and Baldassari Peruzzi. She describes the group’s work at the Vatican and the evolution of the style of painting known as Mannerism.
