Abstract
44 sixth-grade Caucasian males were given the Matching Familiar Figures Test (MFF) while recordings were made of their GSR's and EKG's, measures indicative of emotional arousal and attentiveness. Ss were divided into three groups by the MFF: Reflective (17 Ss), Median (14), and Impulsive (13). Cardiac deceleration, 2 cardiac rates, GSR range, and 2 GSR fluctuations were determined for eash S from the recordings. The means for the groups did not differ significantly (p=.05) on any of the 7 scores. Thus there was no significant difference in emotional arousal or attentiveness among Impulsive, Median, and Reflective Ss.
