This project explores the personal and practical effects of smartphone usage of this era in order to gauge the direction of society and culture under the pervasive influence of technology. Research consists of survey and interview methods to provide thorough data collection from smartphone users, whose experiences invoke several analyses regarding the future and people's newly developed ways of acting, interacting, and thinking. Several sources containing various theories about the social and practical implications of a society overrun by commodities are used in tandem with, and receive meaning from, the general trends and causal relationships of these data. inen_US
