Abstract
For my Senior Individualized Project I performed research in the physics department at Kalamazoo College working in the field of Holography. I worked with Dan Bloom, Ph.D. a visiting assistant professor of physics. Our research involved working with a laser creating holograms, experimenting with holographic interferometry and displacement due to vibration. This paper was not only written in partial fulfillment for a bachelors degree from Kalamazoo College, but also it was valuable experience for me in terms of furthering my research and scientific writing skills for future career plans.
