dc.description.abstract | Well-known actor Karl Malden was invited to Kalamazoo College by Dean of the Chapel Robert Dewey in 1970 as an artist-in-residence. He worked closely with students to create a presentation he named "The Divine Hypocrites," which was presented in Dalton Theater on April 17 and 18 of that year. It included abstracts from a number of classic American plays such as "The Glass Menagerie" and "Our Town." The students pictured onstage with Malden are not identified, nor is the photographer. | en_US |
