Civil rights leader Margaret Sloan speaking to a packed Tredway Gymnasium at Kalamazoo College, February 15, 1972. Sloan and feminist rights leader Gloria Steinem were on campus as part of the "Emphasis Women" series at the College. Over 2,000 people attended their program, forcing the College to set up loudspeakers in an overflow area. The photograph was taken by an unknown photographer for the Kalamazoo Gazette.
