Abstract
The relationship between a candidate's gender and the attitudes supported on voting choice was investigated. Equal numbers of men and women were asked to answer a questionnaire. The questionnaire identified a candidate's gender and a set of three attitudes that he or she supports. Participants were asked to identify how likely they would be to support and vote for the candidate based on these variables. Subsequent studies will examine the effect of the participant sex.
