Abstract
This study explores the effects of mental imagery on the enhancement of performance of injured athletes. Two Kalamazoo injured athletes were selected to participate in active mental imagery sessions. Previous research has shown that using mental imagery to help enhance the performance of injured athletes have positive outcomes (e.g. better performance in sport, faster recovery, better concentration). The results were analyzed based on how well the athlete started to show improvement within a 10 week period, and the amount of pain they felt in the area which they were affected.
