Las Ludotecas de Madrid

Abstract

For my ICRP, I volunteered for the Spanish Red Cross, working in the ludotecas, or workshops. Through working in afternoon programs with children from ages five to twelve, I tried to delve deeper into Spanish society and discover some of the strategies organizations use to help underprivileged children. This experience helped me integrate into a working environment in Spanish culture and to see what was done to help these children.
