English and Its Increasing Role in Senegal

Abstract

Why is English so often the preferred language in senegal? What is its relation to modernization? And in what way does proficiency in English affect the lives of the Senegalese? All this I have investigated in my internship as an English teacher at consulting Business Services of Medina and through contact with Senegalese people at various points in English proficiency.
