Kalamazoo College: A Foreign Study Scrapbook
Abstract
From the cover: "Foreign study is a special option for Kalamazoo College students. Since 1958 the foreign study program has sent over 4000 students to 32 countries. The College maintains several foreign study centers throughout the world. including those in France, Germany, Spain, and several African countries. Because of a unique college trust fund, the foreign study program is subsidized and therefore makes the foreign study option economically feasible as well.
"This scrapbook is made up of photos taken by Kalamazoo students while they were on foreign study (see names below each photo). In many ways, it captures some of the cultural flavor and distinctive experiences taken in by the students abroad. We hope this gives you a visual perspective on the educational possibilities available through the Kalamazoo foreign study program."
