Includes short biographical summaries on graduates and non-graduates. From the preface: "The preparation of this catalogue was undertaken at the request of the Alumni of the College, as expressed in their vote of June 18, 1901. It contains the names of those students who, since the organization of the Institution, entered upon either of the courses of study which are in advance of the preparatory courses. It thus contains the names of all graduates from 1851 to 1902 inclusive, and the names of non-graduates, not including, however, the names of such as matriculated later than 1898. The body of work consists of two parts. The first contains the names of those who completed the Theological course, which was the first to be organized, of those who completed the course leading to the usual college degrees, and of those who received diplomas on the completion of the course for women. This last course covered four years of collegiate study, and was considered equivalent to the course for men. A very few of those who completed the course for women, were afterwards granted regular college degrees. The separate organization of the women's department ceased with the year 1870. The second part contains the names of those who entered either of the three courses just mentioned, but did not complete it. It also contains the names of those who received collegiate degrees at other institutions, and afterwards pursued studies in Kalamazoo College."
