Tidings (June 1927, No. 2)

Abstract

Ehtel Cronkite, class of 1920, was an American Baptist Missionary in Bengal-Orissa, India from 1921-1939. In 1927, she sent the missionary magazine, Tidings, as part of the college's centennial collection. On the cover of this magazine issue is Lavina C. Coombs, a Freewill Baptist missionary from Maine who had been in India since 1882. It discusses her career as a missionary and her many accolades. There are also articles written on prominent community members and the experience of raising children as a missionary.
