The play, written by local Kalamazoo playwright Bryan Zocher, chronicles the life of American rebel Joe Hill, and includes his music. Directed by Ed Menta and performed in the Nelda K. Balch Playhouse from November 14-17 of 1996. The playbill notes that the November 14 performance was "Union Recognition Night," where people could present their Union Card for a 50% discount.
