Tidings (December 1926, No. 4)

Abstract

Ethel Cronkite, class of 1920, was an American Baptist Missionary in Bengal-Orissa, India from 1921-1939. She sent the publication, Tidings, to the college in 1927 as part of its centennial collection. On the cover of this issue is Dr. Mary W. Bacheler, the first medical missionary of the Free Baptist Women's Missionary Society. Along with a tribute to Dr. Bacheler, this issue of Tidings comprises of local news, stories on community members impacted by the missionary society, and personal accounts from missionaries in the region.
