Exploring the World of Television : Interning at WQRF Fox-39

Abstract

In order to fulfill the requirements for my Senior Individualized Project (SIP), I interned at the FOX Network affiliate television station, WQRF FOX-39, in Rockford, Illinois. I worked as an intern in the Promotions department for approximately three months. The primary objectives of my internship were to develop an understanding of the television industry and to receive "hands-on" production experience. It was a great learning experience that would not have been possible without the support and encouragement of the entire WQRF staff.
