Exploration of Technology in Interactive Learning

Abstract

For my SIP, I worked alongside Dr. Pam Cutter to try and build a virtual textbook through Runestone Academy which could be used as the central curriculum for the Comp 104 class. We intended to make use of the available Runestone Academy library of e-textbooks and modify an existing e-textbook to accommodate the goals of the course. Dr. Cutter proposed that my contribution to the project would be to help modify an existing virtual textbook, customizing it to fit the goals of the course, learn the functionality of the Runestone website and its educational potential, and assist with designing and planning the Comp 104 class.
