Young Men of Color
Young Men of Color (YMC) is a student organization that strives for unity among men of color on Kalamazoo College’s campus and in the greater Kalamazoo Area. YMC strives to promote good health, both physical and mental, and to provide opportunities for academic achievement, professional development, leadership development, and empowerment of all members. It is a community committed to providing a space for others to learn of multiple narratives of men of color through values, beliefs, and traditions by dedicating a positive and welcoming environment similar to comradeship and/or a family.
