Formed in 2005, LSO (Latinx Student Organization) is a student group formed with the goal of creating a sense of community among Latinx students at Kalamazoo College. It provides a space to exercise common beliefs, values, and traditions among Latinx students and otherwise wishing to learn about Latinx culture. In the spring of 2017, the organization changed its name from Latino Student Organization to Latinx Student Organization in order to become more inclusive of the diversity within the Latinx community.
