Historians in Antiquity; Classical Editions of the Past

Abstract

This program, written by Kalamazoo College students Josh Green '92, was created for a 1992 A.M. Todd Rare Book Room. The program discusses the classic historians and noted editions of their books represented in the collection, most of which were collected by A.M. Todd. The exhibit includes many of the classic Greek and Roman historians, the program also discusses the Greek and Roman historians that are not represented in the collection and ponders possible reasons for their exclusion. It concludes with a list of the editions on display.
