The Illustrated Book: Rare Books from Kalamazoo College

Abstract

This program, written by Kalamazoo College student Melissa Donahue '89, was created for an exhibit at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts from October to December in 1989. The program discusses the changes in illustration through the years; from illumination to woodcuts to intaglio to lithography to photography, etc. It concludes with a list of books on exhibit.
