The Craft of the Arion Press: A Modern Tradition
Abstract
This program, written by Kalamazoo College student Melissa Donahue '89, was created for an A.M. Todd Rare Book Room exhibit on the Arion Press in 1988. The program discusses the function of private presses and the creation of the Arion Press by founder Andrew Hoyem. It goes on to note the focuses on unique bindings catered to each book and the level of details designed in the publications.
