This program, written by Kalamazoo College student Bruce Jensen '81, was created for an exhibit in the A.M. Todd Rare Book Room. The program discusses advances in the art of publishing in the Victorian Age which made inexpensive books more readily available and established illustrated book for the public. Authors, artists, and printers worked hand in hand to create illustrated books for their new audience. The program concludes with a list of known Victorian illustrators.
