Kalama-Africa is a student organization that was formed to create a space on campus for students and the Kalamazoo community to engage with African cultures. It is a space both for African and African-descended students to feel a sense of belonging, as well as a space for all students to learn about African culture. It was founded sometime between 2008-2012.
