Abstract
The author originally planned to volunteer for 50 hours as a teaching assistant in a local elementary school in Oaxaca, Mexico, when the school closed due to Covid-19. The SIP became four photo essays applying the concepts of her coursework to her observations on the trip: “Feminist Psychology of Women: Observing Women’s Roles in Oaxaca”; “Feminist Psychology of Women (cont.): Rethinking Education”; “Politics of Latin America: Symbols of Colonization”; and “Counseling Psychology: Finding Joy in the Journey.”
