The Medical Humanities/Las humanidades medicas

Abstract

This SIP was written with the goal of implementing a Medical Humanities course within the Spanish Department. A course in the Medical Humanities allows for students to explore other areas of study within a language that they are pursuing. This course would allow for a new interdisciplinary study that has not been explored before. The new course would allow for students in Spanish and STEM to intersect their interests and become well-rounded individuals.
