Abstract
OrangeZest is a Kalamazoo College affiliated
publication that officially ran from 2007 to 2017.
During this time, each year’s edition would focus on
the graduating classes journey through K College
beginning with LandSea or Orientation and ending
with the commencement ceremony. I was influenced
to do an Orange Zest publication as my SIP because
it engaged the interests I have developed during my
time at Kalamazoo College. Through this project, I
was not only able to develop my skills in digital
design and Adobe but learn a new skillset within the
process of creating a publication.
