    Abstract
    This project examined the existing literature surrounding the issues in Kurdistan, the Kurdish people, and the Kurdish Workers’ party (PKK). Intertwined there is a number of different analyses surrounding the Kurdish Workers’ Party and the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) through the examination of capitalism, nationalism, feminism, and terrorism.
