| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this poster is to present the results of a survey given to
Kalamazoo College students that are involved in the Biology department
at K. The goal of this survey was to find a general consensus regarding
how students perceive the current biology program and to determine
areas of improvement. Overall we hope the results of this survey will be
influential in the improvement of the Biology department by laying out
the desires of students who will be involved in the department for years
to come and by those who have completed the Bio major already. We
discuss suggested areas of improvement based on the results of the
survey and provide possible solutions gathered by looking into other
