Together

Abstract

“Together” represents human and non-human togetherness as it is perceived by myself, a biology major and a prospective ecologist. My deep appreciation of this togetherness prevents me from succumbing to the despair that one often faces when contemplating humanity’s role in the decline of the planet. This togetherness is represented literally through these amalgams of humans and non-humans. “Together” is a series of 8 digital art pieces that were created on a 2nd generation Apple iPad Air using an Apple Pencil and the art program Procreate. I hope that more than anything, my love for this planet and for this existence is what really shines through in Together, and I hope that it inspires the recognition of the same magnitude of love in the hearts of those who view it.
