1982 Heyl Scholarships Awarded to 24 Kalamazoo High School Students

Abstract

In 1982, twenty four students earned Heyl scholarships to attend Kalamazoo College or the Bronson School of Nursing. Only students from Kalamazoo Central and Loy Norrix High Schools were eligible for the scholarship. Kalamazoo College senior Sarah Woodson became the Heyl fellow at Yale University where she would study chemistry.
